To be congruent two angles are compatible as they have the same number of degrees defining them. But waves, be it sine or co-sine, light waves or sound waves when congruent, have the same frequency, amplitude and wavelength. Waves are more complex than angles yet can be described by the same word. While congruent people might be similar in just one linear factor and of a single dimension, such as is the case of two angles. Alternately, a trifecta of traits, mannerisms or qualities make waves a 3-D comparison. Two friends could be described as angular or wave-like, defining the dimensions of their relationship. Try it on your friends, is each relationship onion-layered (wave-based) or primarily of the single, superficial, angled style?
