Species merging was generating problems among the parents.

‘Icthy’ (the fishy-folk) were gene sharing with the previously lower consciousness group ‘Dollface’. The fish couldn’t resist those cute baby blues, the ageless physiology, and the absence of self-determination among the females. Fishy females were having tricks employed by the clown fish and bees. Namely, gender reversal. Female were becoming male fish! Not due to rising water temperatures but precisely because there were no male fishes to fertilize eggs. Meanwhile, the fish parents of females were struggling with concept of gender redefinition. Their ‘baby-girls’ were auto-gender-reformatting in front of their eyes. No-one had prepared the parents, or the ‘baby-girls’, regarding a potential gender realignment at their hatching. The transition was easier for the ‘baby-girls’ than for their parents. The parental generation has followed the tradition of ‘gender reveal’ parties. Now, they were arguing if the cost was worth it – should they be more supportive of their offspring and re-do the whole gender reveal? The expense, finding ALL the relatives AGAIN. That was merely the financial side, emotions were running high too! Mothers wanted their girls to carry the eggs. The question arose if the seahorse mechanism of males carrying the eggs might help to relieve the future grandmothers’ concerns.

It was all so murky!
