Who’s a lemon?

I’m a lemon.

Oh.

Oh. Yeah, of course you are I can see that!

But, you’re not green. You sure you’re not a lime?

No.

I tell you I’m a lemon. Just give me some sun—I’ll be yellow yet.

Sure. That’s what they all say!

And you should talk. You’re not yellow either. What colour do you call that?

I’m beyond purple, it’s called ultra violet.

Pounce! The next thing you’ll say it that you’re a berry.

But I am! I’m a Blue berry.

Right! Aren’t Blueberries supposed to be BLUE?

Well – blue in the colour spectrum then violet, Ultraviolet, so I’m INTENSE blue.

Yeah, sure. You just like saying you’re ultra, uber, self-important BLUEBERRY!

You’re not nice!

ree

Well…well..well…you’re not yellow OR blue.

In walks a ‘pickle’, from the middle.

‘Who are you?’ they exclaim in unison.

“I’m ‘Pickle’.”

What? You’re not a fruit.

Who said I was?

We are all fruit, if you’re not, you’re in the wrong row.

It hardly matters!

Actually, we think it does. You might make us go ‘off’ sooner.

As if.

You are biased! Self-indulgent! And, selfish. You picked the best space to be displayed.

No. You’re wrong again.

We were put here. We are special. We bruise easily and can do magic tricks.

Sure!

We can roll!
