Nature,

Nature,
Nature…
My nature
The world’s nature…
Your nature,
You’re natural,
What’s Mother Nature?
-is it innate?
-is it on other planets?
-is nature carbon-based?
-could there be a nickel
Tin or
Iron-based nature?
Would it have green leaves?
Or – pink sunsets?
Or – blue skies and oceans?
What about a methane based nature
Ask Sir David Attenborough
You know, he’s 100 now.
We won’t have him for much longer
Other plants’ nature is missing these days
But – isn’t there a moon of Saturn that may have had water and carbon?
And what of our twin planet, is it Venus?
Some say both planets exchanged soil over the eons of time.
Are we part Venusian? Not from Venice, but 5% our nearest planetary neighbour.
The nature of our moon differs from Earthly nature.
What is the essence of nature?
Is it wavelengths of light, chlorophyll, and chloroplasts? Is nature merely the ultimate essence of life? The natural world or the nature of the human spirit?
Nature
Nature
Nature
Flowers of each conceivable colour.
That’s still the natural world – our natural world
Nature isn’t merely plant life – it’s the web of animal life too.
Species, now extinct, some even forgotten.
Resurrecting a long gone being from strands of its DNA. Mother DNA making a whole new thing, where once there was nothing left but bits of a decayed tooth.
What’s so special about teeth?
What about life forms without teeth?
Are they un-natural?
Are they ANTI- Nature?
Are they? No, were they?
-Fossilised remnants.
-Encased lineages.
-Become ‘natural’ again.
