Gemma and Michael are playing with a lemon in a sock.
When life gives you lemons make lemonade.
When life gives you trauma, become an alchemist, and turn that trauma into gold. Find the zest in life, try and avoid hot lemon tea, it will burn your tongue. With less ‘life buds’ how can you know when you are tasting something good? An alchemist should have tools, too. My tools are:
- Thinking of others, treating those how I’d like to be treated
- Cons: sometimes though, this can come across as condescending – creative, insightful
- Leaves can wither,
- Lemon trees absorb the soil
- Cons: why am I writing this? They are given bad soil, sad lemon L
I guess, having a brain which seemingly constant bounces from one subject to another, and tends to over-detail, over explain.
But isn’t that art—wanting to express an idea or a feeling but not knowing how to articulate it, so creating an image or a song is the next best thing. After all, if words and talking were able to heal people, then we would all be healed.
When life gives you dissociation, make sure you write, make art. When life gives you anxiety and the feeling that you should be perfect, join the circus or perfect an art form of your own. When life gives you cruelty, stay cool.
